Aimed to promote the advancement of Korean Studies by facilitating research in the Kyujanggak's unique archives, the travel grants are open to domestic and foreign professors, lecturers, Ph.D. candidates, and research institute fellows, as well as independent researchers on a case-by-case basis. The grant provides administrative assistance in accessing the archives, as well as 1,000,000 won for both foreign and domestic scholars.
The grantees will be asked to participate fully with the Institute's academic community through various events and also will be encouraged to submit the results of their work for possible publication in the Institute's journals, Hanguk Munhwa and the Seoul Journal of Korean Studies. Applications are accepted year-round and can be sent in via email, fax or regular post. Please direct any inquiries and requests for application forms to the Program Coordinator at email@example.com or 82.2.880.9378
