Visiting Scholars Program

The Kyujanggak Visiting Scholars Program invites scholars to utilize the collections of the Kyujanggak as well as the research infrastructure and human resources of Seoul National University for furthering the development of Korean Studies as well as their own research. The selected scholars will be granted office space and on-campus housing can also be arranged if needed.Upon their acceptance, grantees will be asked to participate fully with the Institute's academic community in their various events, and the results of grantee's work will be encouraged to be submitted for possible publication in the Institute's publications, Hanguk Munhwa and the Seoul Journal of Korean Studies. We accept applications year-round, with decisions made on a quarterly basis. Please direct any inquiries to icks@snu.ac.kr
